Ngo for Supporting Farmers
We are non profit organizations and ngo for farmers in Ahmedabad, charitable trust for farmers.
Agriculture is the base of the Indian economy. However, when it comes to farmers not every farmer in the country is living in a good condition. Natural calamities, lack of proper education and understanding of the market has led to the downfall of many farmers across India. While some move towards other occupation, others take their own life when things take a drastic turn. NGO for farmers has been working hard to uplift farmers across India.
What do NGO for farmers do?
- Educate farmers and their children
- Help convert the hilly and non-irrigated land into cultivable land.
- Help farmers understand agriculture as a business
- Promote co-operative farming among farmers
- Provide economic aid when needed
Making a difference
Education goes a long way which is why most of the NGOs like Naandi, Srijan, Dhan, Farms N Farmers, and Jai Kisan Krishi Shikshan Sanstha are working towards educating farmers to make them understand agriculture as a business. Not only do they educate the farmers but they help educate the children of the farmers. Volunteers go to far-off places and help the farmers who need help with technology and the use of it for agriculture.
How to contribute towards the noble cause
NGOs need helping hand as well as charity to perform their day-to-day functions. People from all walks of life come together to help the farmers. You can become a full-time or a part-time volunteer. You can also make donations that will be used towards the development of the village and individual farmers.
